A pre-school teacher has had one of her children’s stories published after first testing it out on her harshest critic – her three-year old daughter.
Author Ailbhe Sutton has always enjoyed making up her own stories and sharing them with her daughter, Fiadh, and her son, Keenan (13), when he was much younger.
Now her tale of a fairy trying to fit in has been published by Austin Macauley Publishers. ‘Fia the Fairy’ focuses on a little fairy who is different from all the others. One day she decides to change that. But will she be happy with the changes she makes? Fia learns an important lesson about being herself and will help other children to learn this too.
