Picture used for representational purpose only SURAT/ VADODARA: Mehul Kumar, a BCom student, had convinced his topper friend to appear in online exams on his behalf. But minutes after his friend started answering questions, he was immediately identified. Another student who thought a prompter sitting beside him will help in crack the online exams too failed miserably. Nearly 500 such copycats have been caught adopting unfair means while appearing in online exams of various undergraduate and postgraduate courses of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) that began on June 26. These students were simply not aware that their images are being clicked, videos being recorded by the devices which they thought would give them a lot of leeway to cheat. Based on this suspicious conduct, VNSGU has registered cases against these students which are being reviewed by a fact-finding panel.

Four oxygen plants donated to hospitals in Vadodara | Vadodara News

CM Rupani dedicated the plants to the hospitals on Sunday Vadodara: Chief minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday virtually dedicated four oxygen plants that have been set up at city-based hospitals with the support of spiritual organization and donors. Vallabh Youth Organisation (VYO), a city-based spiritual organization had announced to sponsor and help set up four plants including one each at SSG Hospital and GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Gotri. The two other oxygen plants have been set up at Narhari Hospital and VYO’s own Covid care centre at Vrajdham. VYO said that the four plants for Covid-19 care have been set up at a cost of Rs 1.28 crore with the support of NRI donors.

The institute, affiliated with Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) University, recently organised its annual placement ceremony for their final year students which witnessed interest from around 35 schools participating (a few in person and a few virtually) and recruited shortlisted teachers.
