UPDATE 2.25pm Two vehicles collided on the highway near the intersection of Niemeyer Road just after 12.30pm. A spokeswoman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said the two patients suffered no major injuries and declined any further treatment or transportation to hospital. Traffic has reportedly returned to normal after there were lengthy delays on the highway following crash.
EARLIER Paramedics have rushed to the scene of a multiple vehicle crash on a major Lockyer Valley highway. A spokesman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said three patients were currently being assessed after two cars collided on the Warrego Highway at Hatton Vale.
Premium Content ONE patient has been hospitalised following a two-vehicle collision at Helidon overnight. The incident occurred at the corner of Turner St and Warrego Hwy just before 1am Saturday morning. Paramedics and police attended the scene. One patient was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition. The extent of their injuries is unknown. helidon crash
It is understood the vehicle struck a guardrail on the Warrego Hwy about 7.30am.
Police and paramedics attended the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries were sustained as result.
Minor traffic delays were reported. for a short period of time.
The scene has since been cleared.
