Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - UnCruise Adventures begins their season in Alaska starting with the Safari Cruise on Friday, May 7, from Juneau.
Dan Blanchard, CEO of UnCruise Adventures, said in a Juneau Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on Thursday that UnCruise will be operating six small ships in Alaska this summer. Their season was extended to start three weeks earlier than orginally planned, and will also extend several weeks later in September. We won t be back up to 2019 levels, he said. We were originally expected around 4,500 guests this summer, but I believe we have a good opportunity to get that up to just shy of 6,000. He added that guests on their ships are typically ones that come to town and stay in hotels.
