The progam means jewellery and watch suppliers participating at the IJWF will qualify for grants to cover the costs of attending the event. This is fantastic news for the jewellery industry. It will help kick-start suppliers and retailers to get back to the vibrant and exciting industry that it is

BEG was created by the federal government to support the events and exhibition industry, including the tourism sector, by funding Australian businesses to participate at pre-approved events – including trade shows, conferences, and conventions – from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021.
Gold Coast Trade Days sold out; overwhelming support Posted February 22, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor All supplier spaces at the upcoming Gold Coast Jewellery Trade Days, organised by Expertise Events, have now sold out with two weeks to go before the event begins on 7 March.
Gary Fitz-Roy, managing director Expertise Events, said the number of tables available to suppliers had been capped in order to “ensure the best possible return” for participating businesses, allowing them to interact more fully with retailers. Expertise Events confirms buying group presence at Trade Days, Sydney fair Posted February 15, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor Expertise Events, organiser of the upcoming state-based jewellery industry Trade Days, has confirmed which buying groups will be present at the events, as well as the International Jewellery & Watch Fair (IJWF) in Sydney later this year.
The five Trade Days events are scheduled to take place in March and April, at venues on the Gold Coast and in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
Nationwide Jewellers, Australia’s largest buying group, will have an official presence at all the Trade Days, while Independent Jewellers Collective – the nation’s newest buying group, founded in 2020 – will be at the Gold Coast and Sydney dates, with a view to potentially participating in the other events.

Buying groups throw support behind new industry Trade Day events Posted December 21, 2020 | By Jeweller Staff As a sign of unity to ensure the 2021-year begins on a positive note following a year of upheaval, the jewellery buying groups have thrown their support behind the upcoming Expertise Events Trade Days.
Scheduled across Australia early in the New Year, Nationwide Jewellers, Showcase Jewellers, and Independent Jewellers Collective (IJC) have organised a variety of activities surrounding the newly created retail buying events.
Colin Pocklington, managing director Nationwide Jewellers, confirmed that his buying group would have a presence at all events: Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Adelaide, and Perth.
