Bird keepers in Staffordshire have been told to keep their poultry inside following an outbreak of bird flu. The new measures come into force today and it is now a legal requirement for all bird keepers to keep their birds indoors and follow strict biosecurity measures.

Bird keepers across Staffordshire are being asked to keep their poultry indoors.
In a bid to limit the spread of bird flu, new measures have come into force today, Monday, December 14.
It is now a legal requirement for all bird keepers to keep their animals indoors and to follow strict biosecurity measures.
