Marcus Baggins was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WDAM.
Itaria Ward, 46, of Gulfport, Mississippi was sent to a local hospital as a result of the wreck.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. Feb. 7 on U.S. 98 East near the Forrest County/Perry County line in Forrest County, according to the MHP. Baggins’ Nissan Versa collided with Ward’s Hyundai Sonata and ejected him from his vehicle, causing his death.
Baggins was driving east on U.S. 98 and Ward was in the eastbound lanes traveling west, according to the MHP.
