The mystery surrounding Fayetteville s mini monolith has grown even more puzzling.
The monolith on the 100 block of Hay Street downtown disappeared sometime mid to late last week just as mysteriously as it appeared.
No one seems to know who removed it, when it was removed or where it went
The monolith was first spotted in downtown Fayetteville earlier this month. It stood 3 feet tall and mysteriously appeared in a flower bed on the sidewalk on Hay Street.
In early December, people were stopping by the 100 block of Hay Street to take photos of the small structure.
Where did it come from? No one seems to know that, either.
