If you’re still trying to score a PlayStation 5, Newegg is starting to sell them through a raffle system.
The system dubbed Newegg Shuffle Events is currently in beta, so it may not be a smooth experience. Nevertheless, it represents the company’s attempt to help consumers land in-demand items that scalpers and bots continue to buy up.
The retailer kicked off the first Shuffle event yesterday by letting consumers enter raffles to buy the RTX 3080 graphics card and AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs. But on Thursday, Newegg added a new item to the raffle: the PS5 digital edition.

Need a fully immersive gaming experience? Check out Razer s concept gaming chair, which sports a 60-inch display that curves around your face.
The prototype is called Project Brooklyn, and it’s designed to offer a cockpit-style gaming experience. As you can see, the concept takes the curved gaming display to the max by using a rollable OLED panel to create a 180-degree field of view.
But what makes the chair really futuristic is how it can deploy or retract the OLED panel into the seat’s backbone with a simple press of a button. The OLED panel will literally roll back into a scroll. The mounted stand will then recede into the seat’s spine.

We all knew the PS4 s days were numbered as soon as Sony launched the PlayStation 5. Now we have the first signs of just how quickly Sony intends to transition away from its last-gen console.
As VGC reports (translated from GameWatch), in Sony s home territory of Japan, production of all but one PS4 model has ended. The only one that remains is the Jet Black PlayStation 4 Slim, meaning all other models, including the PS4 Pro, will only be available as long as existing stock lasts. It s important to note that this only applies to Japan for now, with no decision taken yet regarding PS4 production for Western markets.
