Tamil Nadu govt to receive 4.20 lakh doses of vaccines as empty stocks lead to suspension of vaccination - Tamil Nadu Health Minister M Subramanian had said that vaccination against COVID-19 will be halted in Tamil Nadu from Tuesday evening onwards.
Addressing reporters at the Chengalpettu Government Hospital, Health Minister Ma Subramanian said that the vaccines will be exhausted by Tuesday evening
“We did not have enough vaccines as of Tuesday afternoon and if we did not get these doses, we would have had to suspend the drive,” said the TN Health Minister
Vaccination against COVID-19 will be halted in Tamil Nadu from Tuesday evening onwards, as the current stocks are projected to be exhausted, said Health Minister M Subramanian. He said that Tamil Nadu had so far administered over 89lakh doses, and projected that this figure would go up to 92 lakhs by end of day.
