85% SSI workers await first jab

Due to the shortage of
COVID vaccines, only 15 per cent of the Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial area’s workforce has received the first jab and the remaining 85 per cent a staggering number are struggling for the same.
The second wave of the pandemic saw many lose their near and dear ones. It is only now that industries are crawling back to normalcy. Lack of proper immunisation is putting the lives of all workers returning to factories at risk. Industrial workers have been frantically trying to book online slots, but have failed due to frequent login snags.
