We are expecting the potential for multiple rounds of severe storms during the day on Tuesday across the Tennessee Valley. The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted the entire Valley in an âEnhanced Riskâ for severe weather, which is level 3 of 5.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A cold front has stalled along the Gulf Coast as we enter the weekend, and an area of low pressure continues moving east along the Coast. Persistent cloud cover is expected through much of the day but only a few patches of light rain are expected aided by the location of the low. Even the light rain areas will diminish through the afternoon although there may be a few lingering showers farther to the south and east into the early evening.

City of Florence awarded over $800k from Emergency Solutions Grant

FLORENCE, Ala. (WAFF) - The city of Florence is getting a big financial boost for programs designed to help people in need.
The city will receive more than $800,000 from ADECA.
The money will go to organizations that help people in the community.
Melissa Bailey with the city of Florence said this was an application process. She said they notified local nonprofit agencies, letting them know they were seeking the grants.
