BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A cold front has stalled along the Gulf Coast as we enter the weekend, and an area of low pressure continues moving east along the Coast. Persistent cloud cover is expected through much of the day but only a few patches of light rain are expected aided by the location of the low. Even the light rain areas will diminish through the afternoon although there may be a few lingering showers farther to the south and east into the early evening.
