CLINTON - An investigation led Clinton Police to search a residence and arrest the occupant, a Clinton man, on drug offenses that they said took pills, targeting school children, off the streets.
Police said the significance of the arrest was getting pills, disguised as a prescription Adderall, off the street. The pills actually contain Methamphetamine.
Police said the dealers were targeting middle and high school-aged children.
“This was a huge priority for us due to the fact that the youths who were purchasing these pills had no idea they contained Methamphetamine. These pills have and would have created significant health concerns within our community, Det. Sgt. Miguel Tippy Martinez said. “The outstanding result of this case could not have been completed without the support and assistance of the North Worcester County Drug Task Force.”
