NORTH READING, MA The North Reading Police Department issues a notice to the community on Monday that a level 3 sex offender was living in the town.
The notification is standard procedure when the department is notified by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board of a final classification for a level 3 sex offender.
The person was convicted in 1995 of assault of a child with the intent to commit rape and convicted in 1996 rape and abuse of a child. More information can be found in the sex offender flyer that was published and on the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board website.
