Today Azur Lane publisher Yostar hosted a livestream revealing the next major event coming to the popular shipgirl-focused mobile game, Daedalian Hymn.
The event will start very soon, on April 22, and will end on May 6. As previously-revealed, it will focus on the Sardegna Empire, which is the game’s version of Italy.
It will include plenty of shipgirls including SSR battleship (and Sardegna’s leader) Vittorio Veneto, SSR light cruiser Duca Degli Abruzzi, SSR aircraft carrier Aquila, elite destroyer Maestrale, elite destroyer Libeccio, elite destroyer Nicoloso da Recco, elite submarine Torricelli.
Today Yostar announced the next livestream that will reveal the upcoming major event in its shipgirl-focused mobile game Azur Lane.
This time around, they certainly didn’t shy away from providing hints on what the event may be about. The stream itself is titled “Behold the Majesty of the Sardegna Empire” and the thumbnail features Vittorio Veneto, the yet unreleased leader of the Italy-inspired faction.
This likely means that fans will finally be able to unlock her, alongside more shipgirls inspired by Italian warships.
Commissioned in 1940, Vittorio Veneto was the second Littorio-class battleship in the Italian Regia Marina during World War II. Considering the fact that her sister is very popular, I’d expect this event to turn many heads among the fanbase, with heaps of Wisdom Cubes becoming the inevitable collateral victims.

Yostar will hold a new
Azur Lanelive stream on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 20:00 JST (7 AM ET). The stream is expected to reveal a new event starring Vittorio Veneto, the flagship of the Italy-inspired Sardegna Empire. Voice actress Asami Shimoda will host the stream, with
Azur Lane fan and voice actor Takuma Terashima appearing as a guest.
Currently, eight shipgirls are available to recruit from the Sardegna Empire. They are the destroyers Carabiniere and Vincenzo Gioberti, heavy cruisers Zara, Pola, and Trento, dreadnought battleships Conte di Cavour and Giulio Cesare, and Vittorio Veneto’s sister ship Littorio. While most of them debuted through the first Sardegnan event “Empyreal Tragicomedy” in September 2019, Pola and Vincenzo Gioberti were added during a rerun held between January and February 2021.
