City Hall was a hive of activity during the Dec. 8 council meeting, with Christina Beaton on hand to provide an update on Timmins’ status as a “Bee City.”
Beaton, the city’s environmental coordinator, walked members of council through the developments in the past year and offered a look at what lays ahead in 2021.

“As you are aware, on Sept. 10, 2019, Jen Nobel, from Northbound Bloom presented Bee City to council and the resolution was passed,” she said.
