Around 3:31 a.m. Friday, Arlington police were called to the 2100 block of North Collins Street about a person lying unconscious near the road. Police said they found no evidence of a crash but believe that a hit-and-run had occurred, based on the person’s injuries. The victim, who wasn’t identified Friday, was taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Three juveniles who are suspected of assaulting and robbing an off-duty Arlington police officer at a gas station Wednesday morning have been taken into custody, police say.
