6 hurt, 1 killed in overnight shootings as gun violence continues to rage in Philadelphia

A 24-year-old man was shot multiple times on the 3900 block of Ogden Street, police said.
PHILADELPHIA - Six people were hospitalized Sunday morning and a 24-year-old man was killed after overnight violence across Philadelphia continued.
In a first shooting, a 19-year-old Black man was shot once in the head. The incident happened on the 1000 block of West Ruscomb Street, just before 10 p.m. He was transported by private vehicle to Albert Einstein Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. The scene was held, no arrest was made and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.
Police investigating arson incidents at homes in Overbrook, Frankford

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Police are investigating an arson incident that took place in the Overbrook section of the city.
Police and fire personnel responded to the 6500 block of Lebanon Avenue for a residential fire at approximately 3:58 a.m. Tuesday.
A male suspect was caught on camera pouring liquid on the front porch and starting the fire. The Fire Marshall declared it an arson.
There were no injuries and a scene was held. No arrests have been made.
The investigation is active and ongoing with Southwest Detectives Division.
Earlier the same morning at approximately 2:22 a.m., police and Fire personnel responded to the 2400 block of Duncan Street for residential fire. Two unknown objects were thrown inside the house while 2 females were inside.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) A missing 13-year-old boy, who had not been seen since Friday, was found safe on Monday morning.
Jalen Maxwell was reported missing from his home on the 1700 block of Anchor Street in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia around 7 p.m. Friday.
According to police, he was found in an abandoned home in the 2000 block of E. Somerset St.
Priscilla Maxwell, the boy s mother, says her son has a mild form of autism and cerebral palsy.
Police said the boy was found cold and wet. He was taken to St. Christopher s Hospital for Children to be evaluated and is expected to be OK.
13-year-old boy reported missing from Frankford found safe

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police a 13-year-old boy who they say had not been seen since Friday evening has been found safe Monday.
Jalen Maxwell was reported missing from his home on the 1700 block of Anchor Street in Frankford around 7 p.m., according to police.
He is described as five-foot-four, 110 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was reportedly last seen wearing a green Children s Place jacket with fur around the hood, red and black Adidas sneakers, and a blue and black backpack with multiple zippers and pockets.
