LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Canceled last year, the Spring Art Walk returned Saturday. Artists, musicians, vendors, and performers alike came out to showcase their work.
Artist Morgan Allain explains she was excited to see her customers in person.
“It’s cool to see people that I haven’t seen in a year. But, I’m just excited that there’s as many people here as there are and you can tell everybody hello and you can see their faces.”
Spring Art Walk making its way back to Lake Area Saturday

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - In years past, the streets were flooded with people eager to get out of the house and enjoy live music and different arts that make Southwest Louisiana, Southwest Louisiana. But after a year of forced isolation, many events are making their way back to the Lake Area, including the Spring Art Walk.
LENOX â At the heart of Berkshire County is Lenox.
From here, one can access the entire region with ease.
But, the question begs, why would you leave town, when everything you want is already here? The town, after all, has been called home by such notable residents such as James Taylor, Yo-Yo Ma and Maureen Stapleton, and families like the Carnegies, Astors and Vanderbilts.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Downtown Lake Charles will be celebrating the arts this weekend during the Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA’s annual Spring Art Walk.
The art walk will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
The free event will be focused on bringing back a unique bazaar atmosphere with a showcase of the visual, theatrical, literary, and musical arts that make the Lake Area so special.
