1 injured in Wednesday evening house fire in Sioux Falls View Comments One person was injured and taken to the hospital after a house fire on Spring Avenue in Sioux Falls, according to the Sioux Falls Fire Rescue. At approximately 8:10 p.m., Wednesday, the Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to structure fire in the 900 block of North Spring Avenue. Initial reports said flames were coming from the back side of the home and there was a man on the roof, according to a release by the agency. The first arriving crew found heavy fire conditions coming from the rear of the house and the person on the roof was now in the front yard, the release said.
