State police say that there is no cause for alarm for what looked like child luring incident in Clymer on Friday morning.
Troopers at the time said that a young girl waiting at a bus stop at the intersection of Spring Avenue and the Penn Street section of Route 403 around 7:00 in the morning when the girl said that a large, dark grey SUV approached the bus stop and the driver offered her candy. She ran back home and told her mother, who eventually called police in to investigate.
Troopers were able to conduct an extensive investigation into the incident and determined that the man driving the car did not attempt to lure the child and there is no cause for alarm. They do however thank the public for their immediate assistance in the investigation.

A 36-year-old Punxsutawney woman was injured following a motorcycle crash in Bell Township of Jefferson County on Thursday.
Troopers say the crash occurred along Route 119 at its intersection with McCracken Road when Crystal Wooten reportedly lost control and crossed the center line. Police say she hit the guide rail before coming to a final rest.
Wooten sustained suspected minor injuries.
Jefferson County EMS assisted on scene.
State Police are investigating after a female juvenile reported that she was approached by an unknown adult male while waiting at a school bus stop Friday morning in Clymer Borough.
