Fiji’s Vude Prince Savuto Vakadewavosa is taking a new approach to raise funds to allow him to complete his upcoming album.
And like many other Fijian artistes in the country, the pandemic has drastically affected them with the downturn experienced in the local music industry.
However, that has not hindered Vakadewavosa as he will be performing in a virtual concert via #TwitterSpaceJam and via Facebook simultaneously this Saturday at 4pm.
“The COVID-19 restrictions on social gatherings, etcetera, have hindered singers from making money from live performances,” he said.

Support the Project Wheelshare of the Philippine Relief and Development Services Inc (Philrads) by donating any amount to their fund raising activity.
One unit of wheelchair cost P5,000.
“Our target is to reach 100,000 or 20 wheelchairs to help our kababayans who are physically disabled especially those who are having difficulty in walking,” the group said in a Facebook post.
“Help us promote mobility and enhance their quality of life,” added Philrads.
On July 15, the group reported that it already received three brandnew wheelchairs that was purchased.
“These will soon be delivered to our beneficiaries,” said Philrads.
