For more than a month, 79-year-old Sharon Allan has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, but her family still has not been able to visit her.
Allan lives in the Memory Care unit at Brightwater Senior Living in Regina, and on Feb. 19, she received her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

But Lori Wiens, Allan’s daughter, said she has not seen her mother since December because the province’s strict restrictions on visitation in personal and long-term care homes still remain in place, even after nearly everyone in the home has been fully vaccinated.
