2021 NYCxDESIGN Awards Finalists

Interior Design and ICFF are pleased to announce the finalists for the sixth annual NYCxDESIGN Awards. The program celebrates outstanding talent across major areas of design such as architecture, interiors, product design, graphics and branding, student design, and more, unifying New York City s showcase of global design. Finalists for both Products and Projects are named in over 60 categories listed below.
Winners and honorees will be announced during the live-streamed NYCxDESIGN Awards Ceremony, hosted by editor in chief Cindy Allen. DesignTV by SANDOW is streaming the ceremony on May 17-18 at 1:30 p.m. EST on interiordesign.net and on our Facebook page.

The Spectrum contemporary art exhibit Ode To Color just opened at the Carriage Barn Arts Center and runs through Saturday, May 15. This annual exhibit was juried by Lori Weitzner, an internationally renowned textile designer, and features 120 original artworks selected from over 700 entries by artists working in all media. The exhibit was inspired by Weitzner s book Ode To Color, and her ten essential palettes for living and design.
Artwork in the gallery is organized around ten color worlds: Waterside, Garden Party, Silverlight, At Ease, Out Loud, Earthly, Whisper, Night Shadows, Alchemy and Fragrant Woods. Be among the first to see this new exhibit at the Carriage Barn Arts Center. Meet the artists and exhibit juror Lori Weitzner. Explore and experience the connections between art, color, culture and design… discover how color effects mood and memory… identify the artwork and colors that will most inspire, energize and enhance your life and surroundings.
The gallery will be open from 1-5pm, with refreshments and live music by Bad Dog Buddy Band outside in the courtyard between 2-4pm. Indoor capacity will be limited to allow for social distancing. Facemasks required.
