Airwallex co-founder Lucy Liu is used to being asked what itâs like to be a female entrepreneur, yet itâs not her gender that defined her early experience helping drive one of the countryâs fastest-growing fintech companies.
The 30-year-old commerce graduate, who grew up in China and New Zealand before coming to Australia for university, was 25 when she co-founded the payments technology business alongside chief executive officer Jack Zhang, head of design Max Li, chief technology officer Jacob (Xijing) Dai and principal architect Ki-Lok Wong. For Liu, her youth is what made her different.
