FEMA is expected to be in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley this week to assess the damage from last month’s severe flooding.With last month’s flooding still fresh in our minds, it’s still easy to see the scars left behind from all that flooding. But there is help on the way for the county and its residents, officials with the federal emergency management agency are expected to tour some of the hardest hit areas of Benton County in the coming days. The county is making progress with some repairs including along Logan Road in the Southern portion of the county near the Washington County line. But others remain, including a bridge that carries Gaiche Road over Lick Branch Creek. And that bridge isn’t the only thing damaged by the creek.
