A family member of the victim, 16-year-old Ma Khia Bryant, confirmed she was fatally shot four times after hearing girls fighting outside of her house and calling cops for help. COLUMBUS, Ohio â The family of a 15-year-old girl says the teenager was shot and killed by a Columbus police officer Tuesday afternoon.
In a tweet, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther said a young woman died in an officer-involved shooting, but he did not give her age. This afternoon a young woman tragically lost her life. We do not know all of the details, Ginther wrote in a tweet.
The mayor added that police were wearing bodycams, and they are working to review it as soon as possible.

Bryant was killed during an incident in Columbus, Ohio.
Black Lives Matter activists immediately tried to claim that a “15-year-old girl” had been murdered by cops for being black, but authorities swiftly released bodycam footage which showed a very different set of circumstances.
Leftists also lied in asserting that Bryant herself had called the police for “help” when in reality, “The 911 caller reported a female was trying to stab them before hanging up,” reports AP.
