This comes after a resident of Lakeview Estate flagged on social media that wild boars had found their way onto the property, which is next to MacRitchie Reservoir.

Shock at death of popular Fossa woman

There was wide-spread shock in the Fossa area this week following the death of Kathleen Corcoran, whose body was found in her home, after neighbours noted she had not been for a few days. Concerned neighbours alerted Gardaí and the fire service and they gained entry to her home where Kathleen s body was discovered on Sunday evening. Kathleen, who was in her mid-70 s, grew up locally and lived alone close to Fossa s Prince of Peace Church. He brother Donal, who was living in Chicago, died just a month previous following Covid related complications. A former employee of The Europe Hotel, Kathleen grew up in the gate lodge of the nearby O Connell s Lakeview Estate where her father was an employee.
