BY PAUL MITCHELL CANTON - The Town of Canton has helped a chiropractor open his doors in Canton. Utilizing the town’s Revolving Loan Fund, Dr. Tyler Clark, owner of Clark’s Chiropractic & Wellness, secured a $25,000 loan to help launch his business at 3 Remington Ave., Suite 5. “My vision is to provide the best chiropractic care I can for the people of Canton and the surrounding area. I would like to improve not only their overall health, but would like to keep people out of pain the best I can,” Clark stated.

Canton town and village hold hearing on potential projects for CARES Act funding

Thursday, April 29, 2021 - 9:39 am BY ADAM ATKINSON North Country This Week CANTON The town and village boards hosted a public hearing to field ideas for local projects that might be funded by the state’s Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act grants. The town and village’s Economic Development Department office plans to apply for the funding, part of the state s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which makes $60 million available to municipalities in New York. Canton’s public hearing Wednesday was one of the steps required by the state in the application process. The hearing was held to garner public input on funding application priorities.
