Notably, a full three-quarters of those winners ranging in scores from 85.45 to 88.38 involved controlled yeast fermentation in the post-production processing phase. All the winning lots will be heading to an auction taking place online on Thursday, March 25. ACE is currently selling sample sets of the coffees for $350, and auction registrations for $25. The quality competition and auction program is part of ACE’s ongoing Private Collection series, which launched in 2019 and features partnerships with origin-specific green coffee companies focused on the high-end specialty segment. It is separate from the group’s long-running Cup of Excellence competition and auction series.

The foundation, located in Roseville, Minnesota, provides free school supplies to teachers and students for distribution to families in need. The donation of readers, books, and math and science school resources is earmarked for Chicago-area students and is one of the largest donations ever made by the company to Kids in Need Foundation, said Leslie Lee, marketing director of hand2mind.   With 2020 behind us, we want to make sure that our community partners start the new year with the materials they need to serve families struggling with this unique school year, Lee said.
