On Tuesday, Jan. 26, National PTA will host a virtual showcase to celebrate students from across the country for their talents and creativity in the arts. The event will feature remarks from National PTA and U.S. Department of Education leadership, as well as virtual student performances and a virtual exhibit of artwork created by the more than 200 honorees of the 2019-2020 National PTA Reflections program, themed Look Within.

Earlier this year, National PTA established a COVID-19 relief funding program to support PTAs and schools nationwide in the areas of food security, mental health and social/emotional support, distance learning and internet and device access. After hearing how National PTA was flooded with nearly 900 applications for COVID relief grants this summer, NortonLifeLock, a longtime partner of ours, stepped in to fund all the eligible PTAs that applied in Arizona.

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ National PTA announced today that an additional $120,000 in grants is being distributed to PTAs across the country to continue their efforts to meet the critical needs of students, families, teachers and schools due to COVID-19. The funding is made possible by PTA Proud National Sponsors Mathnasium, Mountain America Credit Union and TikTok. The funding builds on the $1.5M in grants that was distributed to PTAs in 2020 for COVID-19 relief efforts as well as the over $160,000 in grants awarded to PTAs for programming during this school year.
