Birding Walk on Saturday, April 17 from 8 to 9:30 am
The Lewisboro Library and Lewisboro Land Trust invite you to observe and learn about birds on a walk at the Old Field Preserve in Waccabuc.
The walk will be led by Bedford Audubon naturalist Tait Johansson and is good for all levels of birding experience.
The entrance to Old Field Preserve is on the East side of Mead Street (at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) in Waccabuc. There’s plenty of parking in the preserve and on the side of the preserve driveway.

Navigating College Admissions During Covid-19 on Monday, March 15, 7:00 pm Via Zoom
This presentation is to help families understand how COVID-19 is changing the college admissions landscape and how it will affect Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.
The college admissions process is undergoing significant and lasting changes. We will discuss the holistic review process and focus on the greater consideration admissions officers will give to extracurricular activities due to COVID-19.
We will also discuss the importance of community service, how it can provide an opportunity for personal growth and an opportunity to showcase a student’s character.
The presentation will be led by Ron Feuchs and Jackie Tepper, partners at Stand Out For College, LLC.
