ENTERPRISE â A single medical facility that integrates physical, mental, behavioral and dental health care has long been a dream of both Winding Waters Community Health Center and the Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness. That dream will come true when the new Hearts for Health Integrated Care Center opens Sept. 10, in Enterprise.
The $7.4 million, 18,932 square-foot facility has been taking shape on Medical Parkway since construction began last year. Now, the interior walls and electrical and communications wiring are nearing completion, and floors and ceilings are mostly in place. Itâs ready for the interior and exterior finishing followed by installation of equipment. The center will host a ribbon cutting in September.

The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation grant cycle is now accepting applications from organizations seeking Fast-Track Grants, with the larger Impact Grants opening on June 1st.
Last year, the Foundation awarded 63 grants totaling more than $1.12 million in the nine-county area it serves. The Foundation expects to award over a million dollars again this year in grants.
The charitable purpose of the Foundation is to promote the health, wellness, or disease prevention of persons within the Foundation Service Area in a manner that respects the religious, ethical, and more principles of the Roman Catholic Church and adheres to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. The Foundation Service Area includes nine counties: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce in Idaho; Asotin, Garfield and Whitman in Washington; and Wallowa in Oregon.
