WARREN Barbara H. Neumeister, 69, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at Cleveland Clinic, after a two-year battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Barbara was born Jan. 26, 1952, in Warren, a daughter of the late David and Ruth Hill.
She was a 1970 graduate of Leavittsburg High School and worked at Packard Electric for 26 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and traveling with her daughter.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her loving daughter, Ashley Neumeister, and sisters, Diane (Jerry) Martini and Sandy Hill.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Hill.
Cremation was entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.

LEAVITTSBURG A new display area is set up at LaBrae schools to recognize the various achievements and accomplishments of the graduates who have been, or will be, inducted into a hall of fame.
Superintendent Anthony Calderone said the display at the high school includes a large wall with the district Viking mascot and reads: “Tradition of Excellence: LaBrae Hall of Fame”
The display adjacent to the high school gym is a combination of an interactive digital display and a wall display listing classes dating back to the original 2009 induction.
Calderone said the interactive multimedia content will sync to the LaBrae schools’ website.

WARREN –Teresa A. Clapper, 86, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born April 5, 1934, in Meadville, Pa., a daughter of the late Eunice Clara Gravink.
Teresa was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School and worked for Packard Electric for 33 years before retiring.
She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, traveling and card club. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Cain and his wife, Dorthea of Southington; daughter, Deborah Boni and her husband, Nicholas of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Tina White and her husband, Joseph of Kinsman; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
