And the $4.5 million sculpture Epicenter rises up from inside the stadium, with its interlocking rings and giant globe body designed to honor the many U.S. Olympic national governing bodies in Colorado Springs.

Iconic society haunt Le Cirque, which originally opened in Manhattan in 1974, is auctioning off a treasure trove of collectibles acquired by its famous founder, Sirio Maccioni, through the decades.
Known for launching the careers of countless chefs, and serving the likes of Frank Sinatra, Julia Child, various presidents, and royalty, the legendary French restaurant officially closed its doors on New Year s Eve 2017. Though it still maintains active locations in Las Vegas, New Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, a New York City comeback is currently in the works.

SEATTLE FX McRory’s is back, kind of.
On Thursday, Mick McHugh announced he’s coming back to lead the Seattle Kraken’s new flagship restaurant at Northgate.
“It will be the Kraken Bar and Grill, official name, but it s going to have the FX McRory s spirit in a hockey bar,” said McHugh on Thursday.
It’s been four years since he had to close the decades-old FX, as it came to be known. It was one of the first sports bars in North America when it opened in 1977. The Pioneer Square spot was also one of the first in the country to pour Guinness, and McHugh’s cheerful persona helped welcome dignitaries, politicians, and sports fans alike, whether they w

The new Kraken Training Center in the city s Northgate neighborhood will serve up three ice rinks, beginning this fall. They ll host hockey games morning to late night, the Kraken s inaugural training camp, practices for the NHL team and all levels of youth, figure skating programs, public skating, learn-to-skate clinics and classes, learn-to-play sessions, curling, broomball and more, much more.
It all makes for smiles among skaters and can t-wait-to-be-Kraken-fans alike. Truth be told, all that activity will probably make us hungry and maybe a little thirsty too.
