One 11-year-old girl from Louisiana isn’t staying home much as she made it her mission years ago to travel across the United States and give as many law enforcement officers as many hugs as she can.

WACO, TX â The McLennan County Sheriff s Office, in a combined effort with multiple agencies, made seven arrests as part of a large burglary investigation.
About 28 cases have now been solved, according to MCSO.
The arrested individuals were identified as Justin Holt, 31, Kyle Holt, 29, Kacee French, 30, Robert Eakin, 27, Andrea Muniz 28, Nicholas Lobban, 24 and Angel Jaimes, 25.
The charges include burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building, credit card abuse, theft of property over $2,5000, theft of a vehicle, engaging in organized criminal activity and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Joe Meadors was taken into custody on Monday by HSI agents and McLennan County deputies, four days after a McLennan County grand jury indicted him for criminal solicitation for murder for hire.

A local boy has passed away after a battle with terminal brain cancer.
Jon Mathew Graefser passed away Saturday after fighting medulloblastoma, a terminal brain cancer, for the second time in five years, according to a Prayers for Jon Facebook page.
The Sheriff s Law Enforcement Association of McLennan County posted a tribute to the young boy on Sunday saying his mother was a corporal in the jail division before having to leave the sheriff s office to take care of Jon.
