Coaldale RCMP arrest man accused of brandishing a knife Poll Yes RCMP have made an arrest after a report of a man brandishing a knife Thursday in Coaldale. Coaldale RCMP received a complaint just after 3 p.m. of a man who appeared to be upset walking in the area of 22nd avenue and 21st street brandishing a large hunting type knife. Police say at one point he threaten harm to a younger person walking in the same area. RCMP members flooded the area searching for the suspect however was not readily located. Around 6:30 p.m., a complaint was made regarding a man matching the same description stumbling along a ditch area near 21st avenue. The man was said to appeare disorientated. Patrols of the area were conducted and the man still not located.
