LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department have arrested a man for a deadly shooting early Sunday morning at a business in the 3900 block of Platt Springs Road.
Authorities say Regin Oakman, 26, is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
According to the Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher, Michael Lewis Keaton, 39, died from the shooting.
Officials say after speaking with witnesses, the shooting stemmed from an argument between Keaton and another man who he worked with at the business on Saturday.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says they arrested a man on Thursday, after they found more than 90 pounds of marijuana in his home. Deputies say 26-year-old Javier Ayala has been charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
“We received a community tip drug activity was taking place at Ayala’s home in the 200 block of Crestridge Drive,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Members of the Lexington County Narcotics Enforcement Team made contact with him at his home and smelled the marijuana as they talked to him.”

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A Lexington School District Four bus driver remains in serious condition after being stabbed multiple times, by simply offering a man a ride.
Lexington County Sheriffâs Department says Mark Wannamaker picked up 25-year-old Marshal Hogston of Swansea at the BP Gas Station on South Main Street in Gaston Saturday afternoon.
Not long after, they say Hogston stole Wannamakerâs car, stabbed him, and dropped him off in front of a home in the 300 block of Havenwood Drive.

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A 30-year-old Gaston man after finding drugs and weapons in his possession, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators were previously looking to arrest Dustin Partin on outstanding traffic offenses when they found him behind a house on the 400 block of Fallaw Road on January 20. Officials said they were able to capture Partin after a short foot chase.
Shortly after tracking him down, deputies said they found drugs on him. Investigators also found 24 grams of meth, two grams of heroin, Xanax, Adderall, and two guns.
