JEFFERSON CITY, MO – The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) announced a partnership between the Area Agencies on Aging, local public health agencies, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to ensure homebound adults have a streamlined and accessible vaccination experience across the state. Understanding that various communities have already developed a plan for vaccinating homebound individuals in their area, the partnerships established by the State are to merely supplement and allow these efforts to continue at the local level.

ST. LOUIS Finding out in a text that the apartment building you call home is collapsing as in, bricks falling off the sides well, you might want to sit down.
“I was like scared after my friends called and texted me that my building was collapsing,” said a tenant who didn’t want to be identified. “I always joked around about my building being a bit sketch.”
One firefighter was temporarily trapped.
St. Louis Fire Department spokesman Capt. Garon Mosby said one of the injured firefighters was treated at a local hospital and released Sunday morning.
The other injured firefighter was treated and didn’t need to be taken to the hospital. The firefighters were injured when a wall of a vacant home collapsed while they were checking whether anyone was inside. Mosby said it took great effort to lift the roof just enough to free the injured firefighter.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
