Filipino MMA champion Louie Sangalang moves forward on The Apprentice
Louie Sangalang survives the challenges in the 5th episode of The Apprentice.
Filipino MMA champion Louie Sangalang’s voice was hardly heard in Episode 5 of The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition but his supposed passiveness for Team Valor in the business challenge shouldn’t be looked at as a shortcoming on his part.
After all, Sangalang did his best in the role given to him one which kept him in the thick of the fight in this high-stakes game of business competitions and physical challenges all for the prize of a US$250,000 job offer to work as ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong’s protégé at the ONE Championship Global Headquarters in Singapore for a year.
Baguio-born Louie Sangalang has survived the surprise double-elimination on “The Apprentice ONE Championship Edition”.
The Filipino Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champion proved himself both tough and sharp as he held his own in the highly competitive mental skirmishes in the boardroom and continues his journey towards “The Goal”.
“Super” Sage Northcutt, the good-looking American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Lightweight division of ONE Championship, was the guest athlete in Episode 4 of The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition aired in Manila on April 12, 2021.
Sage led the action-filled physical challenge to the candidates at Sentosa Beach to play a competitive game of bubble soccer and pumped up their energy for the boardroom challenge of pushing their own digital resto brand.

Team Valor has yet to recover as Teirra Kamolvattanavith of Thailand and Sho Takei of Japan were eliminated in the fourth episode of ONE Championship’s “The Apprentice”.
Kamolvattanavith, Takei, and project manager Irina Chadsey were sent to the chopping block after ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong picked Team Conquest to win the digital restaurant branding business challenge.
Sityodtong pointed out that Kamolvattanavith’s awkward pauses and stuttering put Team Valor’s pitch in hot water while Filipino bet Louie Sangalang helped her in the process.

“The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” returned with another thrilling episode on Monday, 12 April.
This week, Karate World Champion “Super” Sage Northcutt joined Task Captain Dom Lau to witness the remaining global candidates play a competitive game of bubble soccer.
In the boardroom, ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, and his Advisor, Niharika Singh, made a tough decision to cut two more candidates from the show.
Physical Challenge: Bubble Soccer
Teams headed to Tanjong Beach in Sentosa to play a game of bubble soccer. Upon arrival, they were treated to a flashy display of Northcutt’s karate skills.
Filipina bet Lara Pearl Alvarez has expressed nothing but gratitude for ONE Championship CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong for giving her a chance of a lifetime through "The Apprentice."
