Traffic stop turns up fake gun, narcotics Daniel Fore
A 19-year-old Turlock resident was arrested by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department after he was found with narcotics and a replica handgun during a traffic stop.
The suspect was identified by the sheriff’s department as Daniel Fore, 19, of Turlock.
Fore was stopped by a Community Resource Deputy assigned to the Waterford Police Service for a traffic violation around 10 a.m. Thursday near Tim Bell Road and Heather Drive.
Fore is a convicted felon on probation and had a “propensity for committing armed robbery,” according to the sheriff’s department.

Jan. 14 A Modesto man is behind bars facing charges that include assault with a deadly weapon after a crime spree that spanned several hours Tuesday and went from the Turlock area to south Modesto to Ceres, according to the Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force.
The first incident was a residential burglary on the 500 block of Vermont Street in Turlock, according to a Facebook post by StanCATT. A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was taken from the residence, and Turlock police officers identified Jesus Guzman Vega, 32, as a suspect.
