The second season of
The Mandalorian ended on a high note. Up until this point, the series had focused on Din Djarin s quest to find a Jedi to train Baby Yoda, also known as The Child, and officially known as Grogu. Channelling his powers of the Force, Grogu was able to call out to someone in the galaxy, but we didn t know whom. It wasn t until the Season 2 finale that we learned the mystery Jedi was none other than Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) himself.
Of course, Hamill s guest appearance was kept under wraps the entire season. Fans were utterly shocked and surprised to see Luke take ownership of little green Grogu. Even Hamill found himself taken aback with gratitude. Two weeks after the finale episode aired on Disney+, Hamill shared a tweet expressing his thanks to the show s creators, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. Sometimes the greatest gifts are the most unexpected and something you never realized you wanted until it was given.
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron teased by director Patty Jenkins
Foster explained: “There were a couple of things in there, and a couple of things that happened subsequently that bothered me.
“I’m going to tell you one thing they made me take out because enough time has passed, I don t think it matters.
“There was obviously the beginnings of a relationship between John Boyega s character [Finn] and Daisy Ridley s character [Rey].”

Foster went on to add: “I expected to see that developed further in Episode VIII [The Last Jedi], and zero happened with it.”
This is not completely surprising as The Rise of Skywalker saw Finn telling Rey during a death-defying event: “Rey, I never told you…” before he was cut off.

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill finally made one of Luke Skywalker s most famous unfulfilled desires from A New Hope into a reality.
In an altered photo posted on his social media Monday, Hamill shows himself happily visiting Tosche Station. The location is actually a Mobil gas station with the word Mobil replaced with Tosche. And yes, Hamill is also holding a large, red power converter.
