GENOA, Ohio (WTVG) - The estranged husband of a Genoa woman who has not been seen in two weeks has been charged with murder after authorities found a body buried in the backyard of a Toledo home.
John Eichner was last seen dropping off the four daughters he shared with Amber Eichner with a family member in Tennessee. He was arrested Tuesday and is currently in the Ottawa County Jail, also facing charges of child endangerment and tampering with evidence.

OTTAWA COUNTY, Ohio The office of the Ottawa County prosecuting attorney says a body found in south Toledo is believed to be that of missing Genoa woman Amber Eichner and her husband is charged in her death.
Amber s estranged husband John Eichner, 43, is now charged with murder in addition to previous charges against him child endangerment and tampering with evidence.

BUCYRUS A preliminary hearing is scheduled for murder suspect Brian Russell at 1 p.m. May 17 in Crawford County Municipal Court.
Assenheimer said the victim was allegedly killed in an assault by Russell.
Russell was found and arrested April 22, then taken to the Crawford County Jail. Later that evening, Russell confessed to assaulting the man on April 20, according to an earlier joint news release from Bucyrus Police Department and the Crawford County Prosecutor s Office.
Russell was arraigned in Crawford Municipal Court on Friday.
He s being held without bond, according to court records, Attorney Jerry Thompson was appointed to represent Russell.

BUCYRUS, Ohio A Bucyrus man is expected to face a murder charge in connection with the death of his roommate.
Bucyrus police say on Thursday around 9 a.m., officers went to an apartment in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street on a well-being check.
The officers did not receive an answer and forced the door open.
Once inside the apartment, the officers found the body of a 53-year-old man.
EMS workers were called to the scene and pronounced the man dead. His name has not yet been released.
Police learned that 28-year-old Brian Russell lived in the apartment with the man.
