Bucyrus man Brian Russell arraigned on murder charge in roommate's death

BUCYRUS — A preliminary hearing is scheduled for murder suspect Brian Russell at 1 p.m. May 17 in Crawford County Municipal Court.
Assenheimer said the victim was allegedly killed in an assault by Russell.
Russell was found and arrested April 22, then taken to the Crawford County Jail. Later that evening, Russell confessed to assaulting the man on April 20, according to an earlier joint news release from Bucyrus Police Department and the Crawford County Prosecutor's Office.
Russell was arraigned in Crawford Municipal Court on Friday. 
He s being held without bond, according to court records, Attorney Jerry Thompson was appointed to represent Russell.
