The 13-year-old’s had patches falling out for the past couple of years but mum, Julia, says she’s otherwise healthy and wants to help those in less fortunate positions. Ten weeks after saying goodbye to her locks, she’ll be able to wear a special wig. It’ll partly be made with hair from her friend, Tahlia Wheeler, 12, who’ll also get the big chop tomorrow.
