A bald effort by a quad of Queenstowners to take the fight to cancer has generated almost $8000 already.
The locks will be coming off tonight at The Hayes, with Hannah Eade making a positive out of her gradual hair loss caused by alopecia.
The 13-year-old’s had patches falling out for the past couple of years but mum, Julia,
says she’s otherwise healthy and wants to help those in less fortunate positions.
Ten weeks after saying goodbye to her locks, she’ll be able to wear a special wig.
It’ll partly be made with hair from her friend, Tahlia Wheeler, 12, who’ll also get the big chop tomorrow.
