CJ Group Vice Chairwoman Lee Mie-kyung, the older sister of CJ Group Chairman Lee Jae-hyun, has been on a drive to enter Hollywood.
CJ ENM s drama production affiliate Bon Factory has inked a strategic partnership deal with U.S. based Endeavor Content to jointly produce global content, both in English and Korean, for a global audience.
Endeavor Content is well known in Hollywood for two hit dramas and also movie production.
The move was possible due to the vice chairwoman s vision of acquiring Bon Factory in 2019 to enhance the company s global content production capabilities. The recent partnership will enhance the company s self-production capabilities as well as widen its global distribution network.
