FNB to introduce mobile ATMs in KZN, Gauteng following unrest Updated Gcinokuhle Malinga Share this: First National Bank is introducing mobile ATMs to communities in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng, where its cash machines were badly damaged or destroyed during the unrest.  Pixabay   According to Banking Association South Africa, more than 1 400 ATMs and 250 bank branches were destroyed during the riots.   FNB s CEO Lee-Anne van Zyl says as soon as it s safe to do so, they ll introduce 10 mobile bank branches to the other affected areas.    Our immediate plans have focused on mobile ATMs to help communities and SASSA grant recipients with cash needs, and we are simultaneously working to deploy mobile branches in a matter of days.
