A180 roadworks with hour long queues causing nightmare for commuters and business owners The roadworks are implementing cycle paths into the A180 Updated Locals are becoming frustrated by the interruptions caused by the A180 roadworks (Image: Donna Clifford) Commuters and business owners have been faced with hour-long queues as roadworks to create a cycle superhighway take shape on the A180. The construction began on March 2 which has resulted in the left hand lane of the carriageway being closed along the A180 Westgate. New lane markings have also been put in place along the road before you reach Westgate roundabout. The project is intended to provide a safe route along the South Humber Bank for cyclists travelling to work and other facilities in the area.
